Regional & Half-Yearly Meetings
Within Intermountain Yearly Meeting (IMYM), Friends also gather in three regional communities: Arizona Half-Yearly Meeting, Colorado Regional Meeting, and New Mexico Regional Meeting. Each brings together Monthly Meetings, Worship Groups, and other Friends within its geographic area.
Regional and Half-Yearly Meetings strengthen the spiritual life and fellowship of Friends in their areas and provide an important connection between local Meetings and the Yearly Meeting. They offer opportunities for worship and fellowship, for sharing concerns and ideas among Meetings, and for considering business that is broader than the concerns of a single Meeting.
Each has its own organization and responsibilities and makes certain appointments to IMYM. These include representatives who serve within the Yearly Meeting as well as IMYM's representatives to wider Quaker organizations.
The three regional communities gather twice each year, in spring and fall, for fellowship, sharing, business, and play.

New Mexico Regional Meeting2026 Fall Gathering: September 25-27 The grand sweep of the Rio Grande Valley from sunrise to sunset will be complemented by consideration of the people of many cultures who have lived and traveled there for a milennium.
